Houston senior Ty Albrecht shot an 83 to finish seventh in a field of 75 golfers last Tuesday at the Seymour Tournament.
Jordan Russell fired an 87 to finish two shots from medaling. Other scores for Houston were: Logan Cantrell (107), Adam Bruns (108) and Kobe Sutton (110).
TENNIS TEAM TOPS MTN. GROVE
Houston got its third victory of the season Friday with a 6-3 home win against Mountain Grove.
Lizzy Swindell won her No. 3 singles match 8-0. Lucas Kelley and Sammy Garrett were both 8-2 winners.
Swindell and Adey won their doubles match 8-3.
Houston also received two forfeits at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles.
PARENT-PLAYER VOLLEYBALL MEETING ANNOUNCED
New HHS volleyball coach Barry Wheeler is hosting a player-parent meeting at 5 p.m. Friday in Hiett Gymnasium. The meet-and-greet format will include information about the program and the summer schedule.
