Charles Lee Wilcox, 85, passed away Saturday, May 9, at his home in Summersville.

He was born Sept. 14, 1929, in Summersville, son of John and Eura Belew Wilcox.

He loved checking cows, hunting, fishing on Current River and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jean Wilcox; his parents; five brothers, Cecil, Robert Lee, Les, Johnnie and Dorris; and two sisters, Billie Sullivan and Peggy Chapman.

Survivors include three children, Maloy Dean Wilcox of St. Louis, Rhonda Wilcox of Springfield and Charles Greg Wilcox of Summersville; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a brother, Hugo Wilcox; and many other family members.

Services were Wednesday, May 13, at Bradford Funeral Home with the Rev. John Atchison and the Rev. Steve Steelman officiating. Burial was in Summersville City Cemetery.
