A Licking man was seriously injured when he was thrown from a motorcycle Wednesday afternoon near Evening Shade.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Daniel E. Duncan, 41, was traveling east on Slabtown Road when his 2001 Honda motorcycle traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a tree and ejected him into the tree. He was taken by Air Evac to Cox South Hospital in Springfield following the 3:45 p.m. accident.
The Roby Fire Department assisted the patrol at the scene three miles east of Evening Shade.
