Renee Marie Powell, 54, daughter of Leamond and Shirley Stepp Fuwell, was born June 22, 1961, in Chicago, Ill. She passed away June 26, 2015, at Licking Park Manor.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her children: Stephanie Staley of Cabool and Jonathan Powell of Seattle, Wash.; a brother, Gary Fuwell of Houston; and two sisters, Karen Evans of Dexter and Tracey Weaver of Houston.
She was an avid reader and passed the love of reading on to her daughter. She loved her children very much. She suffered for years with many health issues and had a stroke eight years ago which put her in Licking Park Manor, where she made numerous friends.
The family will host a memorial service at 7 p.m. Friday, July 10 at Brown Hill Chapel with the Rev. Lynn Gayer officiating. Ms. Powell was cremated under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
