A Plato teenager was injured Wednesday evening when her vehicle ran off the highway and struck a tree.
Emily L. Kinsman, 18, was transported by ambulance to Fort Leonard Wood Hospital following the 6 p.m. accident on Highway AW four miles north of Roby. She was wearing a seat belt.
Kinsman had minor injuries. Her 2008 Suzuki Forenza was totaled.
