Houston High School senior Matt Knarr, who gave the Tigers an early lead in their district opener with a 46-yard interception return for a touchdown, was named the ‘Built Ford Tough Player of the Week.’
Knarr had seven tackles and two deflections in Houston’s loss Friday to Strafford. Offensively, Knarr had three carries for 34 yards and two receptions for 19 yards.
Player of the week honors are selected by the Varsity Club and sponsored by Romines Motor Co.
