One person was injured Sunday evening in a wreck involving a tractor-trailer on U.S. 60 one mile east of Cabool.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a southbound 2014 Freightliner driver by David R. Jones, 58, of Salem pulled into the path of Lynn Y. Larson’s southbound car, which struck the tractor-trailer in the front passenger door.
Jones was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Mountain View. Laron, 59, of Cabool, was uninjured. Both were wearing seat belts.
The patrol said Larson’s 2005 Chevrolet Malibu had extensive damage. The tractor-trailer had minor damage and was driven from the scene.
