The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued 50 citations and 55 warnings during a checkpoint in Texas County. Totals from the Dec. 19 “Click It or Ticket” included:
•15 seat belt citations.
•One child restraint citation.
•19 speed citations.
•Seven non-moving violation citations.
•Three no driver’s license citations.
•Five uninsured motorists citations.
•Three misdemeanor warrant arrests.
“Motorists traveling on Missouri’s roadways can expect members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol will do all they can to rid our roads of unsafe drivers,” said Cpt. Mark Inman. “Please help us by being the safest driver you can possibly be. Always pay attention to the task of driving, and please wear your seat belt at all times.”
