Edward Eugene Huff, 65, passed away Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, at his home in Success.

He was born April 14, 1950, in Fort Leavensworth, Kan., son of Theodore and Frances Johnson Huff. He and Judith Fay Sturgill were married June 29, 1975.

He loved to hunt and fish. Even though he could not get out and go fishing or hunting, he loved hearing stories about the seasons. He loved to tell jokes and share stories. He especially enjoyed watching wrestling with his grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother, Frances of Opelika, Alab.; his wife, Judy of Success; a son, Edward of Bucyrus; a daughter Angela of Success; two brothers, Theodore of Phoenix City, Alab., and Fredrick of Columbus, Ga.; two sisters, Cynthia and Wanda of Opelika, Alab.; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were Monday, Feb. 29, at Boone Creek Baptist Church. Cremation was under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
