Gloria Lee Moore, 77, of Licking, passed away Wednesday, April 20.
She was born Jan. 15, 1939, in St. Louis, daughter of Chester and Pearl Storie Harris. She and Perry Allen Tharp were married in 1955. She later married Johnny William Moore on June 6, 1977.
She was Catholic in her younger years. She was a homemaker and especially enjoyed preparing and cooking meals for her loved ones.
She enjoyed doing cross-stitch, collecting Elvis memorabilia, fishing in the summer months and caring for her dogs. She loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Perry.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Moore of Licking; three sons, Roger Tharp of Houston and Jerry and Raymond Tharp of Licking, three daughters, Susan Rankin of Licking, Linda Griffin of Edwardsville, Ill., and Sharon Tharp of St. Louis County; a sister, Barbara of Texas; ex-husband, Perry Tharp of Licking; 23 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several other family members and friends.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation was under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
