Walter Kinserlow, 71, was born Jan. 1, 1945, to Albert and Laura (Smith) Kinserlow. He passed away April 17, 2016, at his home in Houston, Mo.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Laura Kinserlow. He is survived by his wife, Karen, of Houston, Mo.; two daughters and one son, Karla Luttrell and husband, Duane ,of Edgar Springs, Mo., Kaddy Overy and husband, Tony, of Houston, Mo., and Kevin Kinserlow and wife, Penne, of Licking, Mo.; and six grandchildren: Kendall and Justin Luttrell of Edgar Springs, Mo., and Bobby, Elizabeth, Abbie and Kenny Overy of Houston, MO.
Walter grew up in the Hartshorn area and attended school in Hartshorn, Mo.
He married Karen Harness on March 12, 1966, and to this union three children were born, Karla, Kaddy and Kevin.
Walter attended Ozark Baptist Church in his younger life. He received Christ as his Savior while attending there.
Walter loved fishing, cutting wood, coon hunting, driving on back roads, camping, old trucks, going to his daughter’s farm and playing checkers with his grandchildren.
He loved his family. He really enjoyed getting together with his family. He was proud of his family and his grandchildren were his pride and joy. Walter was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He had a great smile and a big loving heart. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Graveside services are 11 a.m. Friday, April 22, in Pine Lawn Cemetery, Houston, Mo., with Don Crockett officiating. Pallbearers are Tony Overy, Bobby Overy, Kenny Overy, Duane Luttrell, Justin Luttrell, Kendall Luttrell and Kevin Kinserlow. Services were under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
