Jimmy Lee Spitler, 65, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born March 1, 1951, in Waynesville, son of Curtis Oren and Virgie Irene Chambers Spitler.

He farmed and worked at MFA for 30 years.

He loved to spend time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mary; and a great-granddaughter.

Survivors include his wife, Betty; a daughter, Becky; three grandchildren; two foster grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Bill Spitler, Bob Spitler, Jack Spitler and Terry Spitler; a sister, Betty Joanne Spitler; and many other family members.

Services were Saturday, May 28, at Fox Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis.
