Memorial services: Friday May 20, at Zinammon Church in West Fork, Ark.

Brent Durand Daugherity, 64, a resident of West Fork, Ark., passed away May 17, 2016, at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville.

He was born Dec. 11, 1951, at Bucyrus, Mo., the son of Raymond and Marjorie Miller Daugherity.

He graduated from Houston High School in 1969 and Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo., in 1973.

Brent retired from the Arkansas State Park Service after 31 years at Devils Den State Park, where he worked as a park ranger and naturalist.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Karen (Logston) Daugherity; one son, Anthony Daugherity of Winslow, Ark.; one daughter, Emily Daugherity Nichols and husband, Kody, of Little Rock, Ark.; one brother, Lyle Dell Daugherity and wife, Valerie, of Chesterfield, Va.; one sister, Raietta Taborosi and her husband, Laszlo, of Leavenworth, Kan.; and three grandchildren, Haleigh, Jade and Chloe Daugherity.

Memorial services were Friday May 20, 2016, at Zinammon Church in West Fork, Ark. Arrangements were under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove, Ark.
