Graveside service: 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, in Willow Springs City Cemetery

Gary Don Brower, a resident of Willow Springs, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016, while at his home due to natural causes. Born June 8, 1944, to Donald William Brower and Goldie Mae (Stuart) Brower in Springfield, Mo., he was 72 years old.

Gary Don lived on the family farm in Willow Springs and worked as an auctioneer, cattle farmer and horse trader. Gary Don greatly enjoyed the company of others and visiting with friends at auctions and community events. He loved spending time with his family and passing on his love of the family farm and history.

He is survived by his son, David Brower and his wife, Erin, of Willow Springs, Mo., and their children, Andrew and Grace Brower; daughter, Kim Brower of St. Louis, Mo.; nieces, Celestia Busbey and husband, John, of Holts Summit, Mo., and Natalie Gomez of Ozark, Mo.; and an aunt, Elizabeth Little and her husband, Bill, of Albequerque, N.M. He is further survived by many cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Goldie Brower, and sister, Sue Hartgraves.

He was well known throughout the community and will be greatly missed by many family and friends.

A graveside service for Gary Don are 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016, in Willow Springs City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Willow Funeral Home.
