Kenneth Allen Breckenridge, 61, of Houston, Mo., passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family after his long battle with cancer. He was born Nov. 26, 1954, in St. Louis, Mo., to Dewey Kenneth and Bonnie (Hildebrand) Breckenridge.

Kenny was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Beulah Breckenridge and Elmer and Ethel Hildebrand.

He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Breckenridge of the home; a son, Jeremy Breckenridge of Illinois; a stepson, Shawn Robinson and wife, Carli, of Summersville, Mo.; grandchildren, Andrew Breckenridge, Cadence and Tyler Robinson; his parents, Ken and Bonnie Breckenridge of Roby, Mo.; mother-in-law, Clara Blake of Houston, Mo.; his sister, Beverly Williams and husband, Dean, of Plato, Mo.; his brother, Mark Breckenridge and wife, Brenda, of Lebanon, Mo.; and many nieces and nephews.

Kenny was saved and baptized at a young age. He graduated from Plato High School. He served in the U.S. Navy until his honorable discharge after his service was complete. Kenny was an ordained minister. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a diehard St. Louis Cardinals fan.

He was a loving husband, father, papa, son, brother and uncle. Kenny had many friends. He will be missed by all, but he’s fishing in heaven now.

Services are 11 a.m. Thursday, June 9, 2016, at Roby Baptist Church with Pastor Norman Foreman officiating. Burial will be in Long Hollow Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Shawn Robinson, Kevin Breckenridge, Steve Breckenridge, Edwin Breckenridge, Greg Brasher, Blake Brasher, Jody Cooper and Grant Williams.
