Anna May Bailie, 84, passed away July 20, 2016, at Licking Park Manor after battling cancer.
She was born May 10, 1932, in Doniphan, son of William Harmon “Joe” and Marie Steele Murray. She and Lester T. Bailie were married May 28, 1949.
She worked and retired from Rawlings Sporting Goods Manufacturing.
She and her husband, Lester, enjoyed vacationing and lake fishing in their earlier years before both had onsets of personal and family illness.
Her nickname was “Granny Annie.” She spent her last three months at Licking Park Manor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a host of brothers.
Survivors include two children, Jim Bailie of Palmetto, Fla., and Kathy Hooper of Licking; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Wilma Huey; and many other family members.
Services were Saturday, July 23, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Erin McConnell officiating. Burial was in Williams Cemetery.
