Texas County fire departments responded twice last week to blazes reportedly sparked by lightning.
Early Wednesday evening, the Roby Fire Department was called to 12121 Highway 17 near Highway AP after lightning reportedly struck a house.
At about 4:45 a.m. Thursday, the Summersville Fire Department was called to Spring Valley Road where hay was on fire after a lightning strike.
