Shirlray “Suzan” (Hill) Sides, 66, daughter Frank and Edna (Fronterhouse) Hill, was born Aug. 17, 1949, in Houston, Mo. She passed away at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo., on June 21, 2016.
Suzan was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Ramona and Frankie; one brother, Andrew; and her granddaughter, Tara Lynn Rosenburg.
She is survived by her husband, Jack A. Sides; three sons, Terry Hill and wife, Tanya, David Hatton and wife, Nikki, and Barry Hatton and wife, Tricia; two daughters, Annette Hill and Bobbie Hill-Chu and her partner, Bobby Amburn; grandsons, Justin, Austin and Jason Hill, Jake and Colt Andrews, Bradley Melton, Cody and Chase Rosenburg, Payton Chu, Dalton Hatton and Kaegan Hatton; granddaughters, Kylee and Breanna Hill, Natasha Andrews, Abbie Hatton and Kierra Chu; and eight great-grandchildren.
Suzan grew up in Ellis Prairie, graduating eighth grade at Success school and finishing her high school in Houston.
She was saved April 19, 1992. Suzan married Jack A Sides on July 31, 1995 at Waynesville, Mo.
Suzan loved spending time with her family, camping, boating, horseback riding, traveling and going places. She was a very devoted mother and grandmother. Suzan just enjoyed life to the fullest! She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services were 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25, at Evans Funeral Home with Dr. Howell Burkhead officiating. Burial was in Ellis Prairie Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jason Hill, Austin Hill, Justin Hill, Colt Andrews, Jake Andrews, Dalton Hatton, Bradley Melton, Cody Rosenburg and Chase Rosenburg.
