Two Raymondville 6-year-olds siblings were honored Saturday as part of the annual “Walmart Heart” program.
Houston store management said a convoy of Walmart 18-wheelers left Licking at about 9 a.m. and shuttled Aiden and Myka King to the Houston store, where they were greeted by a crowd, recognized at a program presented by manager Travis Rector and taken shopping by Walmart drivers.

Trailer-truck units that are part of the Walmart Heart program line up Saturday in front of the Houston store. Two Raymondville children, Myka and Aiden King, 6, arrived in the trucks as part of the program.
The trailer of two of the trucks had the images of many people recognized through the program this year. They arrived on the grounds with a Missouri State Highway Patrol escort. The Houston Fire Department joined the convoy.
Walmart Heart is an ongoing program in which truck drivers strive to “lift the spirits of children or adults with chronic medical conditions or special needs.”
Walmart Heart is a charity program that began in Palestine, Texas, by about eight truck drivers in their distribution center. It provides money for a shopping spree to a child in need. The designation comes complete with a certificate, name badge and driver shirt.
