Two area retail stores have recently relocated.
Mike Brannan’s Ozark ReSale Co. has moved from Licking to Houston, and is now in the building at U.S. 63 and Highway B that has in the past housed everything from Evans Sports, to a flooring firm and a restaurant.
Brannan will continue to carry a large selection of discount building improvement products such as doors, cabinets, countertops, jacuzzi tubs, light fixtures and more. In the coming months, the store will also carry discount groceries, and Brannan has more expansion plans in the works with an even wider variety of inventory. Ozark ReSale Co. will host a grand opening at its new location Thursday, Aug. 18.
All proceeds from sales at the store go toward Brannan’s project to build a camp west of Licking for young people who have “aged out” of the foster care system to help prepare and train them for life as an adult. Store hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. For information or to arrange to donate to Brannan’s cause, call 417-217-4287 or email ozarkresalecompany@gmail.com.
Consider the Lilies Vintage Floral Co., owned and operated by Joy Hinkle and her husband Roger, has moved from the McCloud Center on South U.S. 63 to a building a mile or so north on the same highway, next door to Burch Insurance.
Hinkle will continue to offer various specialty silk and fresh floral arrangements for all occasions, along with repurposed and “redefined” furnishings and other items (such as clothing and household goods), gifts for babies, Joy’s unique “junk jewelry” and an array of “industrial lighting” made by Roger out of all manner of metal (from bicycle wheels to chicken feeders). One of the store’s primary focuses is repurposing, and customers can buy things already on display, or bring items in to get the treatment.
Hinkle said that coming soon, the store will also be a full-service bridal headquarters, with planning, decor and everything else for weddings.
Store hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. For more information, call 417-967-0263.
