Military veteran

Delbert “Biff” Wayne Sullins, 69, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016.

He was born April 22, 1947, in Kinderpost, son of Rance and Mary Evelyn Buckner Sullins.

He enlisted in the Army in October 1966 and served two terms in the Vietnam War. He earned many medals and awards during his military career. In his later years, he was a truck driver.

He loved to hunt, fish and being outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sydney Graen Sullins; two brothers, Donald Sullins and Roger “Snowball” Sullins; two sisters, Doris Mills and Shirley Gregory; and a grandson.

Survivors include two sons, Danny Sullins of Licking and Timothy Sullins of Houston; two daughters, Vickie Graen Clark of Macon and Rebecca Helms Davy of Lebanon; two brothers, Robert Sullins and Jerry Sullins of Licking, MO; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a special friend, Carol Arms of Houston; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services with military honors were Sunday, Aug. 28, in Craddock Cemetery with Pastor Amy Dickens officiating and special honorary speaker Chuck Wallace. Services were under direction of Fox Funeral Home.
