Eula Mae Fudge, 63, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016.
She was born May 24, 1953, in Salem, daughter of Claudius Bernard Sr. and Frances Marie Fielder Fudge.
She grew up on the original 1855 homestead with her three brothers and two sisters, running and playing from dawn to dusk through the hills and forests of the farm.
She graduated from Burge School of Nursing in 1974 and went on to a full career at various local hospitals and nursing facilities throughout the years. She retired from nursing in 2011.
She enjoyed crocheting afghans and doilies, giving away much of work as gifts. She also loved rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals and NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, William (Billy); and a sister, Ivy Wade.
Survivors include a daughter, Angel Richardson; a son Travis Fudge; two brothers, Robert Fudge and Bernie Fudge; a sister, Jan Barnes; eight grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
Memorial services are 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at Fox Funeral Home with Pastor Casey Reed officiating. Visitation is 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.
