The following accident was reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol:
• A Cabool man was flown by medical helicopter to a Springfield hospital with serious injuries following an accident last Wednesday afternoon near his hometown. A teen girl was also injured.
Brad A. Davis, 20, was traveling south on Highway 181 when his truck traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a concrete pillar. The accident was five miles south of Cabool.
Davis, who had serious injuries, was flown by Mercy Life Line to Cox South. A passenger, Allyssa K. Olsen, 18, had moderate injuries and was taken by private vehicle to the same hospital. Neither was wearing a seat belt.
The patrol said Davis’ 1997 Chevrolet Silverado was totaled.
