Revenue from sales taxes collected by merchants in the county was up about 3.1 percent from the same monthly period a year ago, reports the Missouri Department of Revenue.
The total was about $106,215, which was up about $3,300 from a year ago.
For the year three half-cent sales taxes have generated about $711,770 each, up slightly from 2015. The revenue is used for debt repayment on the justice center, upkeep and operational needs.
