Laura Mae Poe passed away Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016, at Ozark’s Medical Center in West Plains.

She was born Dec. 29, 1929, in Blytheville, Ark., daughter of James Edward and Mary Etta Obermark Sullins.

She enjoyed coloring, playing the piano, sight- seeing, watching the Hallmark channel and the company of her bird, Pete. She loved her church.

She was saved and baptized at the Oral Robert’s University when she was 55 years of age.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Truman Poe; and three siblings, Eula Fay Sullins, Lois Sullins and Sunny Paul Sullins.

Survivors include a daughter, Francis Poe of Licking; four sisters, Mabel Hildreth of Salem and Opal Sullins, Arreda Buckner and Judy Kinder of Licking; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Graveside service were Tuesday, Sept. 27, in Craddock Cemetery with Pastor Erin McConnell officiating. Cremation was under direction of Fox Funeral Home.
