Dr. Bryan and Jeannine Buttress and daughter, Riley, of Summersville attended The 28 th Annual Mid-America Fiddlers Championship and old-time fiddling competition Aug. 27 at Branson where Riley took second place in the Pee-Wee Division, 10 and under. She is also playing at Wilder Days Sept. 17 at the Laura Ingalls Wilder Historic Home in Mansfield.
Visiting Grandparent’s Day in the home of Ernest Waters of Houston were Jeff and Carol Mitchell of St. Peters. They took Waters for breakfast Sunday morning to the cafeteria at Texas County Memorial Hospital, where his friends were there to visit with him.

Iced Sparkling
Honey-Lime Red Tea
Brew red tea, such as Red Zinger according to package directions. Stir in honey and let cool. In a large pitcher, stir together the tea and fresh lime juice, and then top with club soda. Serve over ice with lime slices, if desired.
