Mable Lorene (Crews) Greenlee, 74, passed away Sept. 17, 2016, at Texas County Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 28, 1942, in Evening Shade, Mo., to Elmer Ransom and Mary Ruth (Hudgens) Crews.
She married John Fry and one child was born, Kathy Lorraine. She later married George Greenlee in 1969.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, George and John; two sisters, Neoma Kimrey and Brenda Crews; two brothers-in law, Bob Kimrey and John Coziar; and a stepson, Glen Gene Greenlee.
Mable is survived by her daughter, Kathy Adams (Brian) of Bryant, Ark.; granddaughter, Jessica Bursk (Eric); great-granddaughter, Avery Lauren Bursk; three brothers, Buck Crews (Brenda), of Plato, Mo., and Albert Crews (Jamie) and Harvey Crews (Brenda) of Roby, Mo.; four sisters, Shirley Kimrey of Roby, Mo., Darlene Sheffield (Jim) of Dixon, Mo., Janice Coziar of Granite City, Ill., and Connie Sue Crews of Licking, Mo.; one brother-in-law, Perry Kimrey of Roby, Mo.; a stepson, Steven Dale Greenlee; a stepdaughter, Debbie Lou Brittain; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lorene really enjoyed shopping, helping take care of family, going to yard sales and family get-togethers. She was very involved in the long term maintenance of the Long Hollow Cemetery.
She was a member of the Roby Baptist Church for several years. Lorene worked at the Army and Air Force exchange at Fort Wood, MO, H. D. Lee, a daycare at Buckhorn and Walt’s Store in Roby, Mo.
Lorene will be dearly missed by all.
Services were 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016, at. at Roby Baptist Church with Eugene Earp officiating. Burial was in Long Hollow Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Terry Kimrey, Jerry Kimrey, Chris Crews, Eric Crews, Allen Crews, John Coziar and Travis Garrett.
