Three seniors on the Houston High School volleyball team played their final home match Thursday night inside Hiett Gymnasium.

Alyssa Hayes, Emily Shea and Jazelle Brannan were each recognized alongside their parents following the Lady Tigers’ 25-8, 25-23 loss to Winona. Senior choir members were also honored.

“It was a bittersweet night for our three seniors. Even though they played their last home game, we still have districts to look forward to,” HHS coach Loran Richardson said. “The seniors played hard this year and helped to create a solid foundation for what I am trying to build with Houston volleyball. They will be missed.

Hayes led the Lady Tigers with four kills and four blocks. Shea and Brannan had two kills apiece.

Chloe Hunninghake handed out five assists. Jane Huff had the team’s lone ace.
