Anna Mary Marsh Heavin, 95, passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, at Licking Park Manor.

She was born May 28, 1921, in Yancy Mills, daughter of George and Dora Mae Baker Marsh. She and Wayne Arthur Heavin were married Sept. 22, 1945.

She was a longtime member of the Philadelphia Baptist Church and later the First Baptist Church of Licking. She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Missouri Retired Teachers Association.

She enjoyed quilting, sewing, knitting, crocheting, fishing, cooking, baking, teaching

Sunday School and her school students, watching Andy Griffin shows and listening to southern gospel music. She loved working at the Church of Christ Sonshine and Rainbow Day School.

Her greatest love was service to her Lord. She loved spending time with her family and

sewing bibs, pillowcase dresses and making quilts for nursing homes and missions.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne; and a brother, Gerald Marsh.

Survivors include two children, Gerald L. Heavin and Linda Heavin Miller; and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services are 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike

Gorman and Pastor Lloyd Heavin officiating. Burial will be in the Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens in Rolla.
