Houston senior Jaydin Ramsey puts up a first-half shot against Cuba.

The Houston Lady Tigers’ holiday tournament ended with a lopsided loss.

Cuba quickly built a double-digit advantage and downed HHS 56-37 Thursday afternoon in the fifth-place game of the Mountain Grove Holiday Tournament.

Kaitlyn Root scored 13 of her team-high 15 points in the first half. Jaydin Ramsey added 13.

The ninth-seeded Lady Tigers finished with a 2-2 mark in the tournament with wins against Chadwick and Willow Springs and losses to Gainesville and Cuba.
