Houston’s Jaydin Ramsey knocks down one of her three fourth-quarter 3-pointers.

Stingy defense and Jaydin Ramsey’s key perimeter shooting kept the Houston Lady Tigers alive.

HHS rallied from a fourth-quarter deficit to beat Willow Springs 44-41 Wednesday afternoon in the Mountain Grove Holiday Tournament.

The ninth-seeded Lady Tigers will play Mountain View-Liberty or Cuba in the fifth-place game at 4 p.m. Thursday.

Ramsey scored nine of her 12 points in the fourth quarter to spark Houston’s rally. All four of her field goals were 3-pointers.

Abby Casper led Houston (5-5) with 14 points.
