Military veteran

Arnold W. Wolf, 91, passed away Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, at Texas County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Jan. 6, 1926, in Sigel, Ill., son of Alfred and Clara Werth Wolf. He and Lela Braasch were married in 1955.

He graduated from high school in Neoga, Ill. He then served in the Army during the Korean Conflict from 1951-’53.

He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, ELCA in Salem.

Survivors include his wife, Lela of the home; four children, David Wolf of Bunker Hill, Ill., Jodi Hill of Duke and Kevin Wolf and Liza Wolf of the home; four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; two brothers, Herman of Neoga, Ill., and Kenneth of Sigel, Ill.; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Services were Sunday, Jan. 8, at Fox Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Krenning officiating. Burial with full military honors was in Licking Cemetery.
