Carolyn Nadine Foshe, 70, passed away Monday, Jan. 23, 2017, at Cox Hospital in Springfield.

She was born July 6, 1946, in Summersville, daughter of Leonard Harlin and Edna Josephine Goodin Foshe.

She graduated from Summersville High School in 1965. She started her working career in 1967 at Angelica Uniform Factory and ended at Texas County Memorial Hospital on July 1, 2011.

She regularly attended Oakside Church while residing in Summersville and attended Freewill Baptist Church while residing in Houston.

She spent the last seven years living in Houston and made daily visits to her mother, Edna, who resided in Houston House. She enjoyed her rose garden in front of her apartment and tomato plants. She loved her four nieces, two nephews and 17 great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include two brothers, Junior Foshe of Washington, Mo., and Bill Foshe of Springfield; and her nieces and nephews.

Services were Saturday, Jan. 28, at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Spacek officiating. Burial was in Oakside Cemetery.
