People enjoy conversation in a meeting room during an open house last Friday morning at the Lone Star Annex on Main Street in Houston. A community kitchen also was showcased, as was office quarters for University Extension. The complex is north of the Lone Star Plaza, which hosts community events. A pavilion was erected for use by the Houston Farmers Market. All were projects of Downtown Houston Inc.
