Memorial services: 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at Broken Chain Church

Sherwin “Frank” Franklin White, 72, passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017, at Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla.

He was born Nov. 23, 1944, in Geneseo, N.Y., son of Wilson and Mabel White.

He grew up in Conesus, N.Y. He served in Vietnam as a Marine.

He owned and operated Wee Print for more than 20 years in Houston. He also was a pastor for several churches in Texas County. He started Broken Chain Church and ministered there until his health began to fail.

He loved riding his motorcycle, bull riding, racing cars and camping and fishing. He was very active in Christian missions and the Houston Lions Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Tex, Carl, Lillian, Shorty, Jane and Bernice.

Survivors include his children, Misty Dickinson of Kansas, Nicky Terilla of Florida and Bill White, Harry White, Sally Donohue and Ann Johnson of New York; a brother, Elmer; and a sister, Carol.

Memorial services with military honors is 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at Broken Chain Church. Visitation is 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Cremation was under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
