Glen Milton Sherlock, 73, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2016, at his home in Raymondville following a brief illness.
He was born Nov. 22, 1943, in Fort Scott, Kan., son of Joseph and Ellen Gillespie Sherlock.
He worked many years for Qwest Telephone Company in the Phoenix and Minneapolis areas. He retired in October 2000. He served in the United States National Guard of California for six years.
He and his wife, Marilyn, lived in the Golden Hills Resort from 2005 until moving back to Phoenix in 2011. They returned back to Golden Hills in the summer of 2014.
He loved to golf and enjoyed fishing and the beauty of nature.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn of the home; a son, Allan Sherlock of Pleasanton, Calif.; a daughter, Lauri Loveridge of Monticello, Minn.; and two grandchildren.
No services are planned. Cremation was under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
