Archery hunters killed 664 deer in Texas County in the season that ended Sunday, reports the Missouri Department of Conservation.
The breakdown was 313 bucks, 50 button bucks and 301 does. The top counties in the state were Jefferson with 1,130, Wayne with 988 and St. Louis with 982.
