Gayle Ann Stringer, 60, passed away Monday, Feb. 27, 2017, near Mountain View.
She was born Aug. 14, 1956, in Hannibal, daughter of Charlie and Mae Adair Morgan. She married William Delos McGivney. She later married Douglas Gene Stinger in 1994.
She attended Hartshorn Assembly of God Church and Midvale Church for many years.
She loved crafts and art projects. She made cinnamon rolls and homemade pizza for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bill and Kenneth; a sister, Geraldine; and a grandson.
Survivors include her husband, Douglas Gene Stringer of the home in Hartshorn; three daughters, Erica Nicole McGivney and Crystal Lancaster of Mountain View and Shawn McGivney of Summersville; a stepdaughter, Melody Briggs of Hartshorn; three granddaughters; three grandsons; five sisters, Bonnie Box, Darlene Christian, Louise Baker, Linda Begley and Betty Atkins; a brother, Johnny Morgan; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorial services are 1 p.m. Saturday, March 4, at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation is noon until service time at the funeral home.
