Alyssa Hayes’ career night wasn’t enough to end the Houston Lady Tigers’ losing skid.
Hayes scored 21 points Thursday night as HHS lost 66-58 at Salem.
The Lady Tigers (9-11, 3-2 South Central Association) trailed 18-4 after the opening quarter as they lost their fourth consecutive game.
Jaydin Ramsey scored 11 points in her return from a foot injury. Abby Casper added nine points before fouling out and Kaitlyn Root had eight.
Payton Curley led Salem with 19 points. Kari Hatridge hit four 3-pointers en route to 16 points and Kara Powell also scored 16.
