Don Ellis is the resident of the month at Houston House. He graduated with the class of 1946 from Licking High School. He traveled all over the country as a truck driver and won several safety and mileage driving awards. He has two daughters, several grandchildren and a few great-grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, hunting small game and watching TV.
Jackie Slinkard is the employee of the month at Houston House. She graduated from school at Arnold and later worked at Lee Apparel and a couple of banks before joining Houston House in 2009. She and her husband, Larry, have two daughters and seven grandchildren.
