Freshman Kelly Hubbs was crowned the 2017 Hoop Queen at Houston High School during Thursday’s coronation inside Hiett Gymnasium.
Hubbs was escorted by sophomore Paydon Dixon. She was crowned by outgoing queen Katelyn Martinez.
Other winners were: junior Sevanna Rowland, first runner-up; sophomoreMadison Curtis, second runner-up (tie); and senior Cassidy Robertson, second runner-up (tie).
