Jack Wallace, 82, of Branson, passed away Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017, at his home.

He was born May 8, 1934, in Sargent, son of Arthur Lee and Sallie Ann Morton Wallace.

He was a former resident of the Houston area and had been a farmer and employee of a shoe factory. He was a night watchman at Shepherd of The Hills Farm, owner/operator of a dump truck, worked in construction building many spec homes and was the owner/operator of the Branson Heights Flea Market.

He was a member of the Friendly Baptist Church in Branson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Zetta Wallace; two brothers, Delmar Wallace and Raymond Wallace; and a sister, Dorothy McClaskey.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Wallace of the home; five children, Bill Wallace of Tahlequah, Okla., Jeannette Gamble, Sherry Cousins and Bruce Wallace of Hollister and Jackie Lynn Amburn of Highlandville; three brothers, Roy Wallace of Florida and Tom Wallace and Don Wallace of St. Joseph; a sister, Hazel Wallace of St. Joseph; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services are 10 a.m. Friday, March 3, at Friendly Baptist Church with Pastor Monty Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Little Zion Cemetery in Douglas County under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home of Branson.
