The Missouri Department of Conservation is offering three individual “Fuels For Schools” grants up to $305,000 to be paired with 20 percent local match.
The Fuels For Schools aims to install “turn-key” wood burning boiler (heating) systems and is available to school districts located in areas where the forest products industry has a major economic influence.
For questions about the grant application process, call Monty Smith at 417-256-4226 or visit www.scocog.org/fuels-for-schools. html.
