Celebration of life: 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, at Evans Funeral Home

Paul Dean Hammon, Jr., 51, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, at his home in Houston.

He was born April 22, 1965, in Roseville, Calif., son of Paul Dean Sr., and Maxine Young Hammon.

He lived 10 years in Houston. He was a mechanic.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, traveling to new places and spending time with family and friends. He loved his dogs and helping people.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister, Teresa.

Survivors include a daughter, Christine West of California; his father, Paul Dean Hammon Sr. and stepmother, Gayle Hammon of Licking; half-siblings, Tamara Newman and Jim Berg of California, Jack Berg of Arizona, Nicole Garrison of Licking and David Walkiewicz of Georgia; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life was Sunday, Feb. 19, at Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Horton officiating. Cremation was under the direction of the funeral home.
