Frieda Ann Lashly, 75, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at Silver Stone in Rolla.

She was born July 28, 1941, in Chicago, Ill., daughter of Emory and Goldie Gibson Hobbs. She and William Wiley Lashly were married Sept. 13, 1965.

She was baptized and attended church at Munsell before her health declined and she moved to Licking to live with her daughter, Cheryl.

She enjoyed playing Yahtzee and Bingo. Some of her favorite memories were traveling with her husband, William, back to her hometown Eminence from their home in California. She like to drink coffee and visit with her family and friends. She ended her day reading her Bible and listening to old tapes. Her greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William; a brother, Wilbert Gibson; and a sister, Patsy Keyes.

Survivors include two daughters, Lois Bowers and Cheryl Baker of Licking; three sons, Bobby Maglothin and Kelly Benson of Covina, Calif., and Ron Lashly of Eminence; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were Tuesday, Feb. 28, in Munsell Cemetery in Eminence with the Rev. James Bradford officiating. Services were under the care of Bradford Funeral Home.
