The Mayor’s Walking Club will soon kick off.
Healthy Schools Healthy Communities said the annual initiative will begin sometime in April. Walking days will be 5 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays.
Those interested in participating can receive a T-shirt by contacting the Texas County Health Department at 417-967-4131. The deadline is March 31.
