A meeting has been announced to prepare for the 2017 Mayor’s Walking Club.
Discussions of possible walking times and finding leaders will be 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, under the pavilion at the Lone Star Plaza in downtown Houston. Those interested in participating are encouraged to attend.
This year’s event kicks off April 24 at Rutherford Park. Walking days are 5 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays, although alternative start times are being considered if enough volunteers can be identified.
