The Houston tennis team lost a pair of matches last week.
Last Tuesday, Lucas Kelley and Kyler Ramsey had singles victories in the Tigers’ 7-2 defeat.
Kelley won his match 8-6 and Ramsey won 9-8 (1).
Two HHS players –– Isaiah Buse and Celina Castleman ––were narrowly defeated 8-6.
The previous day, Houston lost 7-2 to Mountain View-Liberty.
Trenton Smith’s 8-4 victory was the Tigers’ lone singles win. Castleman and Marley Stoops won their doubles match 9-7.
JUNIOR VARSITY: Eliot Clark and Clayton Moore won their doubles match 6-4 last Monday against Liberty.
