The Houston eighth-grade football team takes a 5-0 record into the Ozark Football League playoffs.
The Tigers remained undefeated Friday night with a 40-6 victory over Sparta.
Daniel Hutcheson ran for 124 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the victory. Brayden Martin added 56 yards and three scores. Ty Franklin also had a touchdown.
Hutcheson and Martin led the Houston defense with five tackles apiece. Anderson Morris had two interceptions.
SEVENTH GRADE: Anthony Carroll rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown as the Houston seventh-grade football team beat Marshfield 30-14 Friday night.
William Kirn added 48 yards and Korbyn Tune had 22 yards and a touchdown. He also threw a pair of touchdown passes to Bailey Hurst.
Tune led the defense with five tackles. Carroll and Tune both had sacks.
