Houston senior Lucas Kelley and the doubles team of freshmen Kyler Ramsey and Isaiah Buse earned all-district honors with third-place finishes at the district tournament.
After receiving a bye, Kelley went 2-1 in singles play. He twice beat opponents from Mountain Grove 6-2, 6-2. His loss was a 4-6, 6-1, 6-0 loss to the top-seeded player from Liberty. It was that player’s first set to lose all season.
Buse and Ramsey followed a bye with a 6-1, 6-0 win against Liberty. After a 6-1, 6-1 loss to Willow Springs, the duo finished with a 6-2, 6-0 victory against another Willow Springs team.
